The document link below lists the numeric portion of the players' USA Hockey Number. If you see your player's number under the CHHC Prospects Column, they are accepted in the camp. If they are under the "Hawks Spring Program" column, they should attend the Hawks Spring Program Evaluations beginning Saturday, March 19. (You do not need to re-register your player for the Hawks Spring Program Evaluations)
If your player is in the CHHC Prospects program, please proceed to Register for the 2022 CHHC Prospects Camp Payment - Step 2 using the link below
This is a camp for the top players (approximately 25) at each birth year. It is designed to produce elite hockey players by building on their existing skill set. Players will train together and against one another in scrimmages and small area games to develop their skills, work on game situational play and improve their overall competition level.
During the 7-week camp, selected U10-U14 players will be offered the opportunity to compete in showcases, games with other local clubs and possible tournaments. This means that not every player will be asked to participate in every tournament or game. Please note that if your player declines the opportunity to participate in a tournament, he or she will not necessarily be offered an additional opportunity. Additionally, it is important that you accept or decline playing opportunities as soon as possible so that we are able to fill our rosters.
U10 through U14 Groups (2013 through 2008 Birth Years)
U15, U16 and U18 Groups (2007 through 2004 Birth Years)
This year, we are again fortunate to have Hockey Director Steve Poapst running the area’s top Midget skill development camp. Coach Poapst brings his experience from playing and coaching at the highest level of hockey in the NHL, AHL, USHL, and AAA.
All players selected for this program will receive skill development instruction and work on game situational play. Additionally, some players will be selected and asked to participate for local tournaments and exhibition games throughout the spring. Teams will be selected from the players competing in weekly scrimmages.
