The Chicago Hawks were well represented in Tampa Bay November 12-14th for the MyHockey Tournaments Tampa Fall Classic 2021. Coach Pat Tagler’s NIHL Gold Team (Bantam 5) were Champions of the A2 division going undefeated (5:0). Their show of hockey smarts, teamwork, and focus is what coaches and parents love to see out there. The team netted 34 goals while giving up only 12. This show of offensive power followed a similar performance in the NIHL seating round where they went 5:1 resulting in their promotion to the NIHL Gold division.

The '21-22 season looks very promising for the Bantam 5 team. These kids are not only dedicated athletes, but they possess real team spirit that is reinforced by the coaches and the parents. On Saturday, the players and their families went to see the Tampa Bay Lighting take on the Florida Panthers for an exciting battle on the ice. Earlier, several families went to the beach to get away from the ice rinks and enjoy the warm weather. Next team trip is to Pittsburgh in December for the Great River Winter Classic… more fun ahead for the Tagler crew. Happy Thanksgiving!
