Presenting the Hawk's Nest

In our never ending quest to increase communications we now have a Hawks kiosk to serve as an information hub for everything related to the Chicago Hawks. Here you will find information on new programs, updates on existing ones as well as current happenings on all Hawk teams.

Zero Tolerance Issues

Moving forward, Zero tolerance will be strictly enforced. Expect to see an increased level of commitment to this policy from our club. YOU MAY BE REMOVED FROM A GAME REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE OFFICIAL HAS ASKED YOU TO LEAVE. There have been more issues this season with behavior in the stands and we cannot allow this to continue. We have had complaints from AHAI, IHOA officials, scorekeepers, parents on our own teams, and parents on other teams about our fan’s behavior. It cannot be stressed enough how important it is for you to be conscious about your comments and actions in the stands. I realize that any lapses in judgment come from concern for your player but we still have to be aware of what we are doing as fans. Remember that you are representing your player, your team, and your club.

Hockey Weekend Across America Celebrated Feb. 17-19, 2012 in all corners of the United States

Friday: Wear Your Favorite Hockey Jersey Day
Saturday: Try Hockey Day
Sunday: Celebrate Local Hockey Heroes Day

On Saturday, February 18, 2012, we will again work with USA Hockey to allow kids to come to the rink and try youth hockey as part of Hockey Weekend Across America. If you know of a relative, classmate, neighbor, or someone that has always wanted to know what it was like to play hockey, then this is a great opportunity to come out and try it for free. We will provide equipment and skates and all they have to provide is the smile and sweat. Look for more details soon.
